Two coasts, one salty obsession.

Salt + Threads is a small coastal tee shop based in Cocoa Beach, Florida, but our salt story started on the boardwalk in Santa Cruz, California.

We grew up around sand, sun, salt air, and the kind of days where a good t-shirt becomes the unofficial uniform. Coastal life was never really a vacation thing for us. It was just life.

Then we moved from cool California mornings to Florida heat that shows up early, stays late, and acts like it pays rent.

That’s when we realized something simple: not all tees are built for this.

The surf tees we used to love didn’t quite make the trip. Some were light enough, but too thin. Some were sturdy, but way too hot. Some had great graphics, but fit like a cardboard box. Others looked good once, then came out of the wash like they had somewhere smaller to be.

So we started looking for the tee we actually wanted to wear every day in Florida: soft, breathable, not too heavy, not too thin, and comfortable enough to go from morning to night.

When we couldn’t find it, we built Salt + Threads around it.

Every Salt + Threads design is printed on the same lightweight 4.2 oz tee made with premium Airlume cotton. It’s soft, smooth, breathable, and easy to wear in real life, whether that means a workday, a boat day, a backyard hang, a rocket launch from the driveway, or falling asleep in it because changing felt ambitious.

We also kept the lineup simple. Same fit. Same fabric. Same feel. Once you find your size, every tee should feel familiar.

No guessing. No weird surprises. Just your everyday tee, with a little more salt in it.

The designs come from the life around us: old beach towns, Florida heat, vintage signs, boat days, slow mornings, stormy afternoons, and the kind of retro coastal energy that feels like something you grew up wearing.

And it turns out, we weren’t the only ones looking for that kind of tee.

Some of our customers live right here in Florida. Some are from places with actual seasons and better parking. But they all seem to be chasing the same thing: a soft, easy tee that feels like sunshine, salt air, and a good day.

That’s who we make these for.
